Taking a New 'Psyched Perspective' on the Field

Frank A. Clark, MD, discusses his new "Psyched Perspectives" series on Psychiatric Times.
Frank A. Clark, MD, an outpatient psychiatrist at Prisma Health-Upstate and clinical associate professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Greenville, discusses his new video series, "Psyched Perspectives," launching on sister publication Psychiatric Times . The series will feature Clark discussing important topics in psychiatry with various guests.
The first episode with guest Jessica Obeysekare, MD, is scheduled to launch shortly. Obeysekare is also a psychiatrist at Prisma Health. She trained at Brown University for medical school and residency, and is board certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine. She is a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville and Clemson University School of Health Research, and she is the associate program director for the Greer Psychiatry Residency program.
Clark, who has served on the American Psychiatric Association’s Task Force to Address Structural Racism Throughout Psychiatry, currently serves as the Diversity and Inclusion section editor and an advisory board member for Psychiatric Times. In addition to his clinical work, Clark has published several poetry books. His most recent book, , is geared for children and presents the notion of finding healing through nature.
